What are the tips and pracautions taken while start riding a horse?

Definetly start off slow.. there is nothing more important than the basics.. and while this may seem boring, it is worth it because the other stuff will come soo much quicler and easier if you do. good luck

If you are starting to learn to ride make sure that you have the correct protective equipment, a good riding hat and a body protector. Also make sure that the person teaching you to ride is properly qualified and/or experienced and that the horse you are going to learn on is quiet and reliable.
All horses are unpredictable and something can frighten them, so make sure that your instructor teaches you in a safe place like a school, menage or arena. Horse riding is safe if done in a sensible manner. Don't worry too much, enjoy it and relax.
