I think u r talking of the number in that bracket. It tells u of the number of discussions u hav till now responded to. There may not be any other no. alongside ur name as of now, rite?

are talkin about the one inside the stars? well,im also new here and im confused bout it. but if you place your cursor in it,it says sumthn like MyLot reputation. but i dont understand what it means..
