Are you or a member of your family extremely allergic to anything? My husband is allergic to any kind of fish. He says that when he was younger he had ate seafood, freshwater, etc. fish and never had any problems. When he was in his teens and moved to Maryland, he got deathly sick when he ate at a seafood restaraunt. Now he cannot eat any fish or have anything with iodine in it. I always thought that if you were allergic to something, that it was an always situation. I never realized you could develop an allergy to something as you aged. Has anyone else experienced this?

My daughter is extremely allergic to dairy products. It's not lactose intolerance, it's an actual allergy. When she drinks milk or eats milk product she will violently vomit (and she's only a year old.) If she eats other diary products like most cheese and yogurt she will get a rash around her mouth and bad diaper rash. It's hard keeping her away from dairy products as they are in nearly everything!
But yes you can develop allergies as you age, and they can also go away as you age if you had them as a child.

I hope your daughter's allergy fades as she gets older. Dairy is a tough one, as you said, it is in many products.
