Meeting your old friends again

Has anyone ever used the internet to try and get in contact with some old friends from school or another job etc? How succesfull have u been, and how does it feel to meet you old friends again?

It has been a long while since I've seen or spoken to my old high school friends. I have tried to contact them many times and one of them actually responded to me and the others I guess didn't. So I was like you know what, I always try to cantact them and they seem not to care much, so now I'm like forget it.
