Dog fur. do you know you can be wearing dog fur around your coat?

I was watching the news, talking about how they are going to recall coats that had Dog fur on it. can you image wearing dog fur? It's suppose to be Fake fur but it's dog fur. I remember them talking about this a few years back. they had to recall winter coats some of this Coats came from Name Brand stores, stores that you shop at everyday. How do you know if your wearing it? they have this dog that looks like a racoon and they are selling it as Racoon fur. Coyote fur that looks like dog Fur. You could be wearing dog Fur. I have seen alot of coats that look like dog fur. because I was told that years ago. I thing you should check the label, some people won't wear any type of Fur,Mink or rabbit, even some rabbit coats look like dog fur. I won't be being any of these coats. would you? that is really something to think about check the labels. that's gross! Got any fake furs?

I saw that this morning on the news as well and that is awful!! I cannot believe that. I don't have fake fur, but if I did I would expect the word 'fake' to mean 'synthetic and not from an animal', not 'from a different animal'.
I think that is very misleading, and I cannot believe such big name companies would think they could get away with such a thing.

This is very misleading. I don't have any fur or fake fur coats, nor do I plan on having any in the future. I feel that most fur is pretty gross, and it doesn't matter if it's from a minx, dog, or fox. The dog that you spoke of, the racoon dog, is not a dog like we have in the United States that is domesticated and what have you. It's bred for using as a lower quality fur, and can also be found throughout asia. They are quiet cute, though!!!

I used to wear fur coats when they were popular but I wouldn't have one now. I think it is cruel and primitive to wear ANY kind of fur on clothing. There was a time when animal fur was necessary for a human to stay warm, but it isn't any more. Wearing furs seems inhumane to me now and it shouldn't be allowed.

I do not buy any fake furs. of any kind. That is nasty about wearing dog fur though. I think wearing any kind of fur is kind of creepy though. I think that some would find out if they were allergic. Does it really say on the label that it is dog fur?

of course it is not going to say dog fur. It sads sythectic, but it is acually dog fur. I just seen that on good Morning America, last week.

I am truly disturbed by this. I saw the video of how they get the fur, it is so awful I wish I had never seen it. I almost passed out.

Yes it is true, I heard of this years ago how they would recall the coats. from some name brand store.
