Yes, I believe in global warming.
No, I don't think it's the next big crisis that we're going to have to face. There are a lot more issues that I think will become much more prevalent in our world.
Population booms in Eurasia.
Depletion of vital natural resources.
I have a feeling that things like this will become much more important sooner than we think.
Will the diminishing of species and natural resources lead to a point that the Earth is in need of a Gigantic Red Button (tm)?Or will Alien Overlords swoop in and claim Earth as their rightful dominion, negating all else?

Well in my opinion its the way the world goes. I mean we can't stop this. Each time we progress, we have to sacrifice also. Now talking about the natural resources....well yes, they are in a danger state but then also we dont have any other choice rather than look for some more. Its the only way......you make decision and then you dont look back.

What I mean to say my friend is that there is much to explore in this world. There are many elements yet to be discovered. And moreover we already have the nuclear power. And with the increasing horizons of science maybe we could get something from outer space. Ever problem has got a solution. Now I might be sounding negative to you, but just think about it. Can anyone live without the benefits that technology has provided us with. The answer is loud and clear--No. So its better to carry out and look for some more opportunities. Just think about it practically.

What's the end result of that though, do you suppose? Is it that we have to find different ways to do things, or will we simply be unable to do things that required the depleted resources?

Personally I think that the global warming is a very big problem. We see that the winter is not cold and the summers are very hot, and we can't forget it. The states of the world MUST do something for this warming, or the whe world one day will be a place where we can't live.

I didn't say it wasn't a big issue. I think it is. However, I really don't think we'll see the full ramifications of it before some other catastrophe emerges.

See, I sort of view any major war as the proverbial Red Button that erases human existence and starts everything over. I may be wrong, but any BIG war is probably an extinction level event.
