For those who would like to go to Sagada, There are 2 ways to go there... 1. Via Baguio, you shall pass by the highest point in the Philippine National HIghway System at 7,400 ft abive sea level. A lot of very nice view including rice terraces along the way. You may also stop by the Mt. Data Hotel. 2. Via Nueva Vizcaya, from here you can visit the world famous Banawe Rice Terraces. Though the road is just wide enough for two vehicles, this is also a fun trip passing by the province of Bontoc. Length of trip is approx. 12-14 hours from Manila.

The vendors at highest point told me that one route the tourists use to go to Sagada is that when going they use the Vizcaya route, visiting the Rice Terraces, then after, the pass by highest point and end their vacation in Baguio city.

Whew! I agree, Sagada is a nice place to visit. I think the trip going passing by the highest point is the fastest way to Sagada but if you have plans visiting Banaue, better to pass by Nueva Vizcaya.
