A man named Mr. Smith was flying from San Francisco to LA, and the plane made a stop in Sacramento along the way. The flight attendant explained that there would be a delay, and if the passengers wanted to get off the aircraft, the plane would reboard in 30 minutes.
Everybody got off the plane except one gentleman who was blind. Mr. Smith had noticed him as he walked by and could tell the blind man had flown before, because his Seeing Eye dog lay quietly underneath the seats in front of him throughout the entire flight. Mr. Smith could also tell he had flown this very flight before because the pilot approached him, and calling him by name, said "Keith, we're in Sacramento for almost an hour. Would you like to get off and stretch your legs?"
Keith replied, "No thanks, but maybe the dog would like to stretch his legs."
Now, picture this: All the people in the gate area came to a complete halt and were totally silent, when they looked up and saw the pilot walk off the plane with the Seeing Eye Dog! And, the pilot was even wearing sunglasses. People scattered. They not only tried to change planes, but some were even trying to change airlines!

Oh my! That must have been quite a shock for the passengers. LOL Can you imagine standing in that line? How that must have looked to them LOL

Lol, that is quite funny. I'm not sure whether you are presenting this as a true story or a joke. It is a funny though though, considering I like flying planes/airlines a lot. IF this was real, the people that would have tried to change planes or airlines would have been quite silly, because a blind man wouldn't be present in the cockpit of a plane. *groan*.

Haha I can imagine! It would have been frightening to think that but if people paid attention they would have known they were a blind man on the flight well most of them anyhow who set near the man. But it still is funny imagineing all them people go nuts because of a misunderstanding. Thats what is wrong with the world people are always jumping to conclusions before thinking first.

I think that is a really funny story but it is probably made up by someone that thought it would get exactly this reaction. I have known people with guide dogs and I don't believe they let someone else walk their dog. The dog and owner are pretty much joined at the hip, so to speak. Where one goes, the other goes. The dog is very protective of the owner and wouldn't want to leave him on the plane, nor would the owner want to be separated from the dog but it does make for a very funny story.

Oh dear, which airline was this again deebomb? Just in case it might be the one I am thinking of using when next I decide to fly somewhere. LOL
It must have been quite a shock for the passengers and whilst possibly the Pilot thought it was funny, I am not so sure that I would have under the circumstances. So my sympathy is entirely with the passengers because I suspect that my initial reaction would have been similar. It is the sort of thing that the eye engages before the brain and the visual impact it would have would have been rather frightening. :)

Uh huh... Now I would know better if it was me, but this would catch some unaware for sure. Wonder if this was for real, or a Joke?
