I heard on the news today that 1 out of every 150 children have autism and this is the most that it has ever been. I am wondering if our enhanced chickens and other genetically engineered food may be a factor in contributing to autism or other birth defects. Maybe some people have a gene or something that does not respond to our "enhancing of our foods" very well. Just a thought---Would like to hear some other people's thoughts. I wonder just how "safe" is it to "enhance" our foods?
I know that the use of drugs and alcohol may also be a contributing factor, too. So, maybe in between all of it, our birth defects are rising.
