We can rate our own image uploaded, But can't do it with response or discussion.

I have noted this feature on mylot.
When we upload a photo/image we can rate it by our own.
Which is incorrect.
But this is restricted when it's our own response or discussion.
Is it an error in the software programming?
or has any specific reason with mylot?
Have you noted it too?
What can be the reason you think?

After reading to your discussion I noted this.
I was not knowing this before.
I think it's a software programming error as you rightly said.
Why don't you write to mylot.com?
I am a newbie & you are senior here.
So you should bring this in notice to mylot.
because it's not correct I too feel.
