That is not true. A man and a woman can be best friends. Love can come between them sometimes or love can develop and they end up being married. My wife and I were best friends for 7 years before we ever actually dated. When we did it was love and we have been married for 15 years. We are still best friends.

Yes, definitely. In my case, I always maintained a very close relationship with my male bestfriend. We started being friends way back when were in College. Some people even thought that were into a BF-GF relationship. The funny thing was, we never fell into this kind of relationship. My husband knew about my bestfriend and he trusted him that we are merely friends. The best part about having a male friend is that you were able to pour out your problem and hear his advise based on a man's point of view.

I thinks that nothing should stop a guy and gal from being good friends. All it requires is to like each other's personalities and understand each other to a certain level. And what if they do get attracted towards each other? It's better to fall for someone you know and care for than to fall for someone out of phermones or lust. Bur, I think its not necessary. Its the view of the people that see the friendship of boy and girl as love. I saw many friendships of boys and girls that comes under a true friendship. Of corse guys and girls can be bestfriends. I have alot of guys that I am just friends with and would never even think of dating them because I just dont see them that way. I guess it all depends on the guy and the girl. I love all my friends guys and girls but I dont see my guy friends being anything but close friends. just thinking about them that way makes me laugh. my friends are goofie, silly and just plain crazy. and not the type i would date but so much fun to be around. hope that helps ya

Yes, a boy and girl can be best friends. I have several close boy friends, and most of them I have never had any feelings for other than friendship. In fact I find it easier to talk to my boy friends than my girl friends for most things.
