I think this would depend on the astrologyer. Some use a comptuer program that is kind of generalized. While this can give the basics of the influences that may be around you at a given time frame, it will not necessarily go deeper.
A good quality astrologer will find a and see and interpret the chart in a way that is very personal, and can then again give you deeper idea of what influences are likely to occur in your life.
With this knowledge you can then change the outcome or take steps to make sure the outcome will be what you want it to be.
The thing is to be careful of those who are just looking to make money. Not giving the care that should be to something so personal.

Quite honestly I wouldn't waste my money .. even if I did get a really good expert reading done .. by way of my nature I wouldn't believe it anyway hahahah
So I expect it would be a waste of time for me .. I did once have a nice lady I worked with and who 'dabbled' insist on doing me a one months reading ... all carefully worked out .. lots of questions to answer re birthdate etc ..
But once she had done it I put it in a drawer.. only AFTER the month had gone by did I read it .. I didn't see nything in it that was even half way right ..

One feafture i observed in the west most of the astrologers are women for reasons beyond my comprehension. mya be they have more time?! Any way the person who gave pou the readings was not sucessful in making you at least to read it.Experience matters. After all we do not require any counselling or interopretations for hard work but sometimes some good insights into your own pluses and talents may yield better results.

They can give you a good compass. You must follow your path. They give you a map, you interpret it and wend your way. I prefer to use it for gardening. Improving the growth of my plants is a help to my family and friends. Have made note of you blog! Thanks for sharing.

You are rationale and pragmatic. In fact it is a compass in a sea . You may know the directions and can meaningful journey provided the tools you use is good and the decisions you take are positive. Astrology is never intended for fatalism or making people inactive and destiny beleivers. It is to guide them and make them understanf their pluses and minuses. thanks for the response.

I think it is waste of time, though I never spent my time on it. If I wanted to know my destiny - First of all I should know the exact time of my birth- but I do not know.

You are right you need to have at least an approximate time . But the directions an astrologer can give is good provided he is not for making money out of it and is well researched. you can see the responses and feed back on my site.
