what countries have you been to?

what other countries have you been to aside from your country of origin? how did you like that country?let me start things.
hongkong- been there twice when i was young. i loved ocean park!
singapore- very clean. i loved sentosa island
australia- i love their steaks. the beaches were beautiful. i wanted to learn to surf but we didn't have enough time
canada- it was fall when we went. it was absolutely beautiful! but very very cold

I was born in Australia but grew up in Holland. I've been to most countries in Western Europe and now live in England. I've been to Hong Kong and absolutely loved it. I also love going to Spain, a wonderful country. Last year I went to visit Dublin which was lovely as well.

When I was young I liked travelling very much.
I live in Italia, so I wisited some times France that is so near.... then I visited Sweden (two times), Finland, Denmark, Norway, Spain, ex Yugoslavia, Greece, Turkey, U.S. (New York) and Bulgaria (two times).
I love visiting foreign countries, I like painting so when I go abroad I always visit museums and exhibitions.
When my little son will grow up I'll start again to go abroad.

I am from the US. I have only been to two countries in my life other than the US. One was South America, I was only 2 so I dont remember much except that I had a nanny who taught me to speak spansih.
I have also been to mexico. I love it there its so warm.

I have yet to add to this list! I have been to Hong Kong, explored its cultural side - the Po Lin Monastery's Sitting Buddha is the biggest sitting one in the world!!! :)

i've been to hong kong too but i was still young then so i was mostly concerned witht the amusement parks and the toys. i'd like to revisit it though and explore its cultural and historical side like you did.
