The star rating is a reflection of your reputation on myLot. It is awarded to people with over 100 posts, and ranges from 1 - 10. The number is shown in a coloured star next to the person's name. It is obtained through other members positively rating your discussions or replies. You can lose points through negative ratings.

So it means ppl who give proper replies and follow myLot guidelines will be rightly recognized!!

The star rating represents your myLot "reputation" as defined by your fellow myLot members. It will increase with any + discussion ratings and decrease with each - discussion rating. Rumor also has it that the earnings algorithym is also tied into your "reputation" rating.
