I have been using CD for last few yrs and now i am using DVDs. Bluerays and HD DVDs are not available here and are not so popular now so will try it when it becomes more available.....

DVDs are very reliable and universal. They're also cheap and yet has a lot of storage capacity.

You see, to be practical, BRD-s and HD-DVD-s are yet to be regularized at the Indian market. Recorders compatible to these types of media either feature highly at the price list or, are simply unavailable at the same. I presume it's 2 to 3 years more before these products start getting at the stocks hereby. CD-s have become commonplace now-a-days and their capacities are limited to an extended range of 750Mb. Hence, at the present context, I prefer DVD-s the most- are easily avaiable, have low price rates, are completely reliable, have compatible recorders and come with a handsome 4.7Gb(SingleLayer) or, 8.5Gb(DoubleLayer) storage capacity. What else does one want of a storage media?

At present DVD. Because this is the one which is running in the marktet now a days. also having a good capacity of 4 & 8 GBs of data.
Once Brds cost comes down, may be that will be the one which i like. May be b'coz of their quality and their storage capacity.

I use DVD as my main media handler right now...
I don't think I'd need HD-DVD or even blue-ray "yet"...
They are still cost to much and sometimes incompatible in each other...
One day maybe I'll use the technology when they have mature and worldwide used...
But for now I'll stick to the DVD...
