The snow in london.....and schools!!!!

It has been quite crazy around the south east of england (if you live in the UK you will know.......) 1000's of schools closed today (friday) and for many, next week is a weeks holiday from school........
now.....
the school i am at..... was one of the only that did NOT close in our area..... but no one went.... even though the snow was melting.... (tbh... i did not go in either lol)
but is it just mean of the teachers????
and many primary schools also closed, causing parents having to take time off work.......
do you really think snow can cause this much madness???

I was going crazy when I saw the picture in a local TV channel. In Kolkata we do not see snowfall but we love it a lot. You may call it madness, but we make a trip to the hilly regions of the northern India during winter to see snowfalls. It is an amazing beauty of nature.

at a school where a mates mum works, there was a few children from Africa that had come to visit by money from the school...... something like that, can remember the details..... but yes, they were here on thursday when there was the major snow fall........ and i was told they had never seen snow before, and for us its something we have seen before... and so we take it a little for granted, but it is good to hear about things like that.
i agree.... it is my favourite time.... when i retire.... many many MANY years away haha... i want a house in the country so i can just sit in a room and look at the snow lol .... or move to norway/sweeden/canada

Yup, It does here in Canada all the time. If cars can't get through howcan peopleget to work and school. Apparently we can thank el nino and global warmingfor such weird weather. right now, ALL of canada is suffering under a really cold snap. Weather channel says its -16 c here in Calgary Alberta at noon, and its just as cold everywhere except the west coast here its raining.

ow.... makes it feel warm here in london lol. its about 0 atm at 7pm. all day today... been walking through the house a few times, and look in the back garden or out of my window... and its all white..... seems totally weird to me lol... but i love the snow.... makes me feel lazy lol
