Plus sized Bikin's

Can anyone please shed some light on why they bikini's in plus sizes??

I don't even see why this is a question. So that women with large figures can wear them, obviously. Wince when are bikinis only for skinny women? Tyra Banks is now plus sized, but she's fit and toned and still beautiful. I can't imagine anyone protesting her in a bikini. Or dozens of other plus sized celebrities and models. There's no reason to discriminate against larger women based on some skewed media bred view of what's 'attractive'.

ok your point is very valid about Tyra Banks.... but I am talking about why would some women that are not tonned think that they can wear them? Or am I just being to self concious?

Why can't they wear them? They're comfortable and there are plenty of people who find large women to be sexy. And to the people who don't... it's just skin. Is skin really that offensive that everyone who doesn't match the media ideal of 'pretty' should have to cover themselves completely? If a big woman is comfortable and confident in her skin, she can wear whatever she wants.

Yes I hear you I guess the problem lies with me.... I would not feel comfortable so I find it hard to understand how others can...
