It used to be that you were to spend 4 months wages to buy an engament ring.... does this still hold true today?

well i would say you need to spend 1 year of wages now a days because the prices of a diamond ring with gold has gone to rocketing heights

well yes there are people who can spend much more than that, but is that worth to spend so much on just a diamond ring, of if its for a special occasion such as marriage, then its ok other wise i dont think its worth it

prariredawn, well its an intersting reply, i was impressed, and so do i find no sense in spending so much of money on the diamond rings, whats your opinion
