There are drifting schools! It ofcourse depends on where you live.. you could probably ask your local car clubs. In my place there is a drifting school.. considering that they have a car to teach you with the price seems reasonable.

thats right what emarie post that u should get the DRIFT BIBLE by tsuchiya a.k.a. drift king - the man who do does drifting in tokyo drift and a role as a fisherman on the port.. thats him!~..... the bible will teach u some basic techniques and how to use these basic to drift like a pro... and how to drift using different type of cars.. from oversteer cars to understeer cars.. from RWD cars to MD cars... from high peformance cars to low peformance cars.. every thing u need is in the DRIFT BIBLE...

omg, my husband is all into drifting. i don't know much, but i'll get him on here and hopfully he can give you some good advice. he's never drifted in a car, but he has in a go kart.
one think i do know is that you have to have a full understanding of the drift and of course of the car you're using too. there are a lot of DVD's you can buy. I know there's a DVD called the DRIFT BIBLE that is supposed to be really informational.
