I just got a welder for Valentines day. I know, most people think I'm crazy, but its the best gift I've ever gotten! I love it and want some ideas on what would be neat to make with it. Any ideas? This is my very first project and I thought it came out really well, but I would love to hear some of your ideas. For this project I used 14 guage twisted wire and then twisted all the bits seperately before welding each piece together. After it was all done, I painted it with gold Rustolium paint and embellished it with beads and wire vines.

Wow that is really beautiful Make me one seriously That is soooo pretty wow!You made that with a welder? how. Ok I would make a mirror with ivy and vines and little grapes, and then finish it in black pewter and purple and green that would be awsome! it would look really great in my kitchen too! lol

Thank you! The mirror is a good idea. I had bought some etching acid the other day and was thinking of trying some glass etching, then I got the welder and in brainstorming had thought about a pretty frame. It's going to take some planning to figure out how I'm going to do it but that is really a good idea.
