Everyone always refers to them as "new aged religions", yet I have no idea what religions they are??
What are the new age religions... at first I was thinking wiccan would be it... but that derives from paganism which has been around forever so thats obviously not the "new aged religions" everyones talking about...
So could you provide me with a list??

I think it's referring to the new religion...darn i can't remember the name of it...the one that Tom Cruise is a member of and that Nip/Tuck had in their storylines....
Looks and sounds very bizarre to me...but that just my own opinion.

"New age" refers to a religous movement. It has no religious text, no church, central organization, creed, ministers, ect. New Age followers can be any base religion (Christian, Jewish, etc.); but, they are seeking spiritual guidance beyond what their base religion teaches. They believe in some of the older practices - wicca, numerology, astrology, palm reading, iChing, crystal healing, etc. It can really be rather complicated since they believe in so many different things. But basically they believe there is more out there than their religion teaches/taught. Many of them are seekers of knowledge and are trying to get "back to basics" - man's relationship with God/Supernatural/Universe.
