I would love to know how many people enjoy Dean's books. I love his writing so much that i try to buy every one of his books that come out. I have even joined his mailing list where sends a kind of newsletter out to his fans about his upcomming books. If anyone has anything to add about any of his works please do, we can make this kind of like his unofficial fan site. lol
take care all!

Speaking on behalf of my own experience, I would commend that you first read "From The Corner of His Eye" and "Life Expectancy" these are two great books by Dean Koontz. Also, the Odd Thomas trilogy.. those are rather nice, themselves. Called: "Odd Thomas" "Forever Odd" and "Brother Odd".
He is, Indeed a great imaginative and creative writer..

Hiya Zen, Greetings from Canada. I am pretty sure i have read life Expectancy and i have the odd thomas trilogy on order, i have read so much about this trilogy that i can't wait to sink my teeth in so to speak. lol Is anyone here a member of his fan club? I had written him a letter a while back and he totally floored me by responding! I was so freaked out my husband was laughing at me. My goal is to get my mitts on every book he's written. I even want to find out his different pen names which i know he has used a few in his time.
Take care all and be safe!

I've only read a few of his books years ago, but I enjoyed them very much. I haven't done a lot of book reading since the internet came along. But when I do read a book, it is something along the lines of Stephen King, Dean Koontz, John Saul, Peter Straub, or Anne Rice. I like the horror genre very much.

Hiya butterfly, Sounds like we have the same tastes in novels. I love the horror genre, especially Dean Koontz, Stephen King, and also John Saul. I find that no matter how much i have to do on the net i always find the time to dive into a horror novel. you know, the kind that makes your hair stand on end and jump at every sound. lol
Thanks for responding butterfly and it was wonderful to meet you, i hope we can chat more. take care

Oh Oh!! I read Dean Koontz too!! There's this time when I was trying to find a good book and my older sister recommended Dean Koontz. I first read One Door Away from Heaven which was a goodie, and after that, whenever I go to book sales and on bookstores, his name is on my list of books to find! Ahehehe... I've read Midnight, Dragon Tears, By the Light of the Moon, Dark Rivers of the Heart, and others. Indeed he has a very good imagination! I like the way he writes his novels... It gets vry exciting after every page wahehehe... Love it!!

I have read every single book he's written! I first discovered him when I was about 10, so that's 16 years of devotion. There are certain books that I enjoy more than others; my all-time favorite being "Lightning". I loved Einstein in "Watchers" too...I really enjoy the fact that he normally has an animal character or two in most of his books.

G'day from Oz, I'm surprised that not more people loved Intensity as much as i did. It's an oldie but a goodie:) I have read all but 1 of his books, which is in my bookshelf waiting for me to get a moment. One of the more recent one's, The Husband was a very good one too. The very first one i ever read was Door to December, Then I was hooked :)

I have read almost all of Dean Koontz's books. I really love most of his stories. My favorites are "The Taking" "Strangers" "Mr Murder" and "Odd Thomas". I have maybe 6 books that he has written that I haven't read... but I'm working on those.
