If you have been reading the news recently, you would be aware that the current situation in Gaza + Beirut is down to 1 soldier being abducted and held by the Hezbulah group. Israel's immediate reaction is to invade another country with tanks and military might, bombing whatever it suspects is a haven for the Hezbulah Group. Once again we are seeing images of innocent people being slaughtered by the Israeli bombs and bullets, as the world looks on. Firstly, I believe this is a total over reaction on the Israeli part and is not justification to invade another country killing innocent people and justifying it with "it harbours Hezbulah group and since they are governing they have declared war".So does that give Israel the right to bomb whatever they wish? How does dropping bombs on an airport or residential disrict target this group? People say Israel has no regard for human life except if you are Israeli or a Jew.Where is the condemnation from the US or where are the threats of Sanction against an agressive Israel? It seems there are two standards here. When it's the Arabs, the US and it's puppets impose sanctions and send in the military, but when it's Israel, it's OK. As a civilised country we cannot just sit back and give lip service whilst these things are happening. Our government should let the Israeli government know that the British Public do not support such a war. We should impose sanctions against Israel to prove this point. What do other forum users think?
