For the time invested to make a few cents online, you would be much better off to go out and find yourself a part-time job. You would have to write thousands of responses a month on this site to make $50 unless you had lots of other people you referred and they were making a bunch of money, too. Unfortunately, most of the people I have referred try it for 8 or 10 posts and then say it isn't worth the time and trouble.
I like doing it because it helps me learn to write faster, better, and on any subject you can imagine. I also get ideas on here for writing long articles which I can occasionally sell elsewhere. Good luck, whatever you decide to do.
