what is your opinion on suicide?

i need to put this out there. With the recent death of Anna Nicole Smith, and how they believe it may have very been a suicide, what are your feelings of suicide?
Personally I believe if you have children here, and you are even thinking of suicide, then you are selfish. Your children come first, deal with your issues. Don't leave innocent children to wonder WHY and what if? Do you think that is fair to those kids?
On the flipside, no matter what anyone says, if someone is out to end their life then it will happen no matter what.
Thoughts?

I find that it is a cowards way out. Life is hard and if you can make it through, even in the bad times, you are more of a hero then someone who takes the easy way out. It is even worse when the person leaves children behind.

I think it is the way losers think and who are afraid to live. If people so much obsessed with life they have the urge to end their life no matter what the situation is.
The serious of the decisions will not be realised until you think about them. In this case if are so much sure of what you are doing and have made the decision then you have no second chance at it unlike other issues in the life....
So make a habit to think before you act no matter what ever is the situation... do go hastily and do something for which you have no second go to repent for it...

I think life is full of ups and downs.Every sunset gives us one less day to live but every sunrise gives us one day more to hope.And the last road towards victory is the darkest of all. I know this dark period takes a toll on many of us. Almost everyone must have thought of ending life at least once in our lifetime. But during these periods of depression it is our support system , our family, friends and our mental strength which helps us out

Our life here on earth is only temporary. God gave us this very special gift that we may use it for the good of everybody. Life is precious, as precious as the one Who gave it. We have no right to end our own life. We are God's property and it is He who will decide whether or not to take away our life. It is really sad that some would end their life rather than living it in the way God wants us to.
