I'm tired of being known as the quiet little asian girl.

I wish I was a little more outspoken with more confidence. But I know that I am horribly shy. I also know I put myself down alot. When someone who I think is way more popular/nicer/prettier/better than me is talking to me I get all shy and feel lowly next to them. I'm not known around my school but that is okay. But I want people to call me by my name and I don't want to seem antisocial. Yes, I do look sad and I'm always looking down. I want people to see my better qualities. Do any of you have this problem?

i'm sorry, but i do not have this kind of problem at school. at school i'm known as the girl that speaks her mind, talks to every social group, is honest, and some that don't know me think i'm a stuck-up or i'm rude!, which i'm not!!
but to solve your problem, you need to love yourself first! do you put others before you, because if you do, you need to put yourself first.(i use to be like what you are and i'm asian but now i'm not like that anymore.) when you learn to love yourself, you will talk more, and have more fun at school. if you have friends, become friends with more people! PLUS, never put yourself down or walk down with your head! walk with your head up high in the hallway to show that you respect yourself and you demend respect! then if you are postavite about yourself, people will be drawn to you! SIMLE a lot too!
i hope i gave you good advice?!? good luck!
