Cats are easy to take care of..We have both a cat and a dog (mini schnauzer)..We have had both for years and they get along Great...Our last little girl (Cat) we did get from our local aminal shelter for $30.00 and she is just a love. You can train them not to jump on everything and they are real good company to have. But you can also leave them alone for hours if you have to as they use a litter box and leave plenty of food and water for them. We don't let our cat out as we would worry about her getting taken or ran over....The yearly shots don't cost much and they love to be groomed by bushing them. At least our little girl does. Plus getting one from a shelter you have a joice of mail or female and age also...Plus they are already fixed so you won't have to worry about that cost either... I really think you would enjoy a cat, especially if you live in a Apt. as they don't need alot of room to be happy...Besure to have plenty of toys and cat nip also... they love it...

Well I have a kitten who is very hyper-active, He jumps onto everything-my computer desk,couch,table,bed's...ect. If you want a playful cat a kitten would be perfect.

I think a cat is a good pet. however i wouldnt buy one. There are TONS of cats at your local animal hospital, that you can adopt. i think to adopt a cat its like $30.00, and they already come spayed. Cats are a good easy pet.

i have had cats as far back as i can remember and yes they do make good pets but i would prefer a dog they are easier to train and no responsibilities to a litter box
