If you start a discussion with one line only, does it count in your earnings?

I have been doing like questions for others to answer but do I need to elaborate so that it can reach like 5 lines or something? I have been doing 2 liner discussion/question type of post and I realized that the number of my posting is not adding up. Is that right?
I have been hearing a lot of good feedbacks to really understand the earning system here in myLot. Really great help from the community.

its really not a question of how long they are but what is the quality... if you ask yes or no questions your responses that you receive will not be of great quality and you wont receive much earnings... try to just have srtong topics that have good responses... that will help your earnings... good luck
