Can personality change

Hi, I was reading some days ago, that personality cannnot very much change, pretty much remains the same, even after our surroundings have changed. I kind of not agree with this, I believe that we all keep changing/evolving everyday, infact every moment, we are all very dynamic, so how can we not change our personality.. throw in your comments and if anyone knows of someone with personality changed over times
