not say something and regret it, for me. Many bad things happened in my life happened because I didn't say a word against it and so I was kind of manipulated all the time. For 5 years now I didn't hold back saying what I wanted or needed to say. Of course now and then I still made the same mistake.

I think that for actions, it is usually better to regret something that you HAVE dared to do rather than something you have neglected to do - apathy causes depression!
But in the case of words? Each one should be weighed carefully on the tongue before being uttered as once released, can never be reclaimed!

I feel it is worse to say something and then regret it, than to not say anything...
I feel it is worse to want to take something back, and not be able to. Because if you have said something and want to take it back.. But if you haven't said it you can always it later. I have said a lot of things that have caused a lot of problems in a lot of relationship that has ended them, and it wasn't a very good ending either...
But if you want to say something after the relationship is already over... Then it is not going to hurt anything any worse than it already is.. Sorry for the rambling, I hope this helps you out..
