usually if I am home I unhook everything from the electic outlets and stay far from the windows and thats all I do wait until the storm is over. If I am not home I just do the best I can to stay safe usually stay in my car.

If you ever get stuck outside in a thunderstorm. You will need to crouch down on a low spot of ground away from any trees. By crouching down, you want your body to cover the smallest space on the ground as possible, so not to be hit by lightning.
