I would definitely still use my computer. I use it to write, to listen to music, to watch DVDs, to play computer games... I do much more than just go online when it comes to computer usage. And my computer was a gift, bought with my gaming habits in mind, so I'd probably still have the same one.

I don't think I would use my computer very often if I didn't have the internet.
Although I use it to listen to music, I spend most of my time on the internet using sites like this and babycenter. My hubby also uses the internet for work.

I feel the same way but continue to find myself doing less and less on my computer that is not internet related. It even seems that I don't play very many games offline anymore.Which is why I bought my computer in the first place also. I would also have the same computer.

I started using computer without the internet so I can still live without the connection.

I definitely wouldn't use it as much. I would still watch dvd's (especially when travelling). I also do a bit of web design so would still use it for that.

My computer is online 24/7, but if it wasn't I think I'd still use it. I definitely wouldn't use it as much as I do now. A lot of what I do on the computer is online. I think that's the case with most people these days. It's a way of connecting to the Internet which connects us to instant communication and information. I use my computer offline to type papers and documents and stuff. I also play some offline games and use photoshop and stuff, but I'd say the majority of my computer activities are online.

I think I would have used the computer to a very samll extend except to watch cds etc, I use the computer mostly online, I don't think I would work on the computer much without internet connection. As all my work is linked to the internet , I hardly use it offline not even for 10 minutes.

There are times when my connection is super slow or the router isn't picking up the signal and I do work offline. I use that time to go through and delete old files, system maintenance, clean out browsers (you can do that while offline), write reviews of products for another site and play some games (mostly Scrabble or Sim City). I used to get really irked when my internet would be out for a day or so but now I just go with the flow and take it as a sign that I need a break from the internet LOL. If it's more than 24 hours I do get cranky but I've only had one instance where it was out for five days straight.

I do a lot of document typing so even without the net I would probably use my computer. But it would have a different feel w/o it. Excitement of meeting people online would be gone and I will miss the chance of playing with unknown people in online games.

Yes of course! internet will not be enough reason why one shouldn't use the PC. As per surveys, PC is the most flexible type of home appliances as of now.
More and more people tend to acquire at least one in a home. With this little gadget, one could have as much as possible to a home entertainment system, a computing machine, a music player, a disc and a video player, a game console, a DVD player and recorder and more all in just one.

I think I would use my computer considerably less if I did not have internet, especially now that I have graduated college. But when I was in school, I used it constantly for writing papers and stuff like that. Now, I mostly use it for the internet, but I still play some computer games on occasion, and I use it to play CD's.

Of course. That's why you have independent programs installed there. From your typical MS Office, Adobe Photoshop up to your favorite pc games. You can play pc games even w/o net connection. Play LAN. I don't use the net when I'm doing my CAD designs.

All I use the computer for is internet. I would have to use it for school work but yeah that's all I use it for. No I wouldn't have even bought a computer, I would just use school or library computers for homework.

I would still use it, but considering I use my computer mainly for online games I would be very unhappy, lol.
