I just think he will be better off and remain a boxer than be associated with the dirt of politics, i doubt it if he can handle it..I'm afraid he be like the others once he is in power they think the world owes them something... i hope not

I don't think he would win because filipino people are not that stupid. And if he makes it and win the election, he can be a good leader but needs more experience and leadership. If i'm gonna be his adviser, i will support his decisions and help his ideas to be better for all.

As i've said in other discussion, its too early for him to enter politics and if he really wants to help his kababayan he doenst have to be in government.

Honestly, the news kind of depressed me! What kind of country are we living in, that we cannot separate the showbiz celebrities from the politicians? I like Manny, he seems like a very humble man...but will he have time to run a province? Won't he be off training or competing? This goes for all the celebrities who are running. How can they focus on two things as big as careers and our country at the same time?

i've seen the news last night and i cant believe that he pursue the idea even if his mom doesnt approve of it. what will he do in the government? PUNCH all the BAD people to prison? he doesnt even know how to express his mind during interviews!!!hay... why cant he just take a rest after all the match he's been through!

maybe Manny POOHquiao is better than the real one. LOL

I dont think Manny can do the job of being a Mayor or Vice Mayor. But I do know that he loves his kababayans and he wants to help them and its the reason why he wants to run. But for me, running as a Mayor or Vice Mayor is not the only way to help them. He can do some charity works or even make a charity foundation. Im really not in favor of Manny going to politics.
