I am really desperate for this recipe. I think this desert was made with graham crackers and pretzels smashed and mixed with butter to make sort of like a pie crust. The you use just the Strawberry Glaze, no whole strawberries, then cool whip, then I think just pretzels and keep layering it. Does anyone have this actual recipe? I had it at Bunco and it was so good and forgot to get the recipe and now I hate the person who made it, so I can't ask for it ;D

Hi there! I haven't had this but I did a search for you and came up with something that sounds similar... not sure if it helps or not but I hope so :)
The source of the recipe is: http://www.helenginger.com/html/bunko_recipes.htm
STRAWBERRY PRETZEL SALAD
2 C. broken pretzels, nut size
3/4 C. melted butter
1 T. sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
1 C. sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 lg. strawberry Jello
2 C. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) frozen strawberries
1 sm. drained pineapple
Combine pretzels, butter & sugar and press into bottom of a 9 X 13-inch pan. Bake at 400* for 8 minutes. Remove from oven & allow to cool. Cream together cream cheese & sugar. Add Cool Whip. Spread on top of cooled pretzel crust. Mix Jello, boiling water, strawberries & pineapple. (Do not thaw strawberries before adding them; they help the mixture set.) Cool until slightly thickened. Ladle over cream cheese mixture. Chill until set.
Note: Don't make the day before -- it will absorb the salt of the pretzels.

Hey, thanks for the wonderful recipe. It looks really tempting and makes me want to cook it one of these days...as a matter of fact, I'll go and add it to my "to cook" list, cheers for sharing!

That does sound similiar and delicious. The only differences I see are the cream cheese and the strawberries. When I had this recipe it had just the glaze and it was sooooo good. It was salty and a little sweet, but very light! Thank you very much, I am going to adjust this recipe and see how it turns out!
