What is the difference between fruit and vegetables?

i think fruits are those which are ready to eat and they are cooked with time by themselfs and in vegetables we have to cook them not all but most of the vegetables there are like eggplant, ladyfinger, spinach, onions, garlic etc and one another thing if we add fruits in food they will make the food taste sweet but the vegatbles are not sweet in taste thats why they are cooked and flavoured

fruits grow on trees and are sweet.Vegetables are mostly found under soil and do not have seeds like fruits.

i love fruits than vegetables but i think they both have the same benefits that we need to intake!...they provide diffirent nutrients that will help our body more strong!...

Well fruits are the mature ovary in flowering plants.Vegetables are the edible product of herbaceous plants and are grouped according to the edible part of each plant:leaves,stalks,roots,tubersbulbs and flowers.

Well fruits are usually sweet and vegetables are ususally not. Fruits usually grow on trees and they have seeds. vegetables grow underground and on vines. Many vegetables do not have seeds. Fruits also grow on vines.
