how long does it take for a face cleanser to work?

Ive tried everything from proactive to neutrogena and nothing seems to be working! Im still breaking out, and now im on this clear zone stuff, but how long should i give a product a try too see results, before i try a new one?

You may have an allergy, which these things will not clear up. If you are ecperiencing no results within a few weeks then you need to see if you have a food allergy of some type. Most people with acne break-outs are allergic to something. Given your age is over the puberty period I would seek other reasons for the break -outs.

Every product should be used for at least 3 months to see results.

I think using face treatment products like lotions or serums have more effect on skin than the cleanser itself. If you are using a new product, I would give it a couple weeks to see if it's working for you. However, if you think you are having an allergic reaction to something, I would definitely discontinue using it.
