I love the taste of dirt but the dirt in my yard has a not to good taste it taste like chemicals and it has a lot of sand I have seen twice on tv about people whoe eat dirt and they like white dirt because it has no sand and it has a good earthy flavor.

I know some people who ate dirt, orange, clay dirt in the deep south of the US when they were pregnant. You can't help it usually its a craving due to a mineral deficiency. Then there are those that eat it because they like it...I like to eat spinach, unwashed, fresh from the garden. Prefer it that way since I was a child. I understand. I recommend finding clean dirt. My friend lived in Maryland and could not find clean dirt so she bought it from a pet store. That can have chemicals in it too. If you could know where it came from that would be better. If where you find it, it is causing lots of growth, that will have less chemicals and more minerals. Just be careful, you do not want too much iron in your diet.

it is abnormal but not uncommon and if the dirt is clean, it isn't harmful either
