Do you have a signature dish?

Something special people know you for, or a recipe you made up? One of my favourite dishes I often serve my friends is a triple-cheese stuffed chicken: Butterfly boneless skinless chicken breasts. Stuff with cheddar, mozza (or any other cheese you like), and cream cheese. Coat the breasts with a mixture of flour (I like to use whole wheat), seasoning salt, and cracked black pepper. Bake on a foil lined pan until juices run clear. The result is an absolutely mouth-watering, juicy, cheesy chicken with crispy breaded coating. I like to serve it with rice and my favourite salad (baby spinach and mixed greens, walnuts, grapes, sliced apples, and ranch dressing).

I think ym signature dish is probably just home made pie! I don't really like cooking much, perhaps my signature cooking dish (to be honest just about the only proper dish i ever cook) is bolognaise, which we have with fluffy white rice since my partner doesn't like spaghetti. But like i say, i'm more of a baking person, i love to bakse stuff, last night i baked a chicken pie (my partner begs me to make him pies, he loves my home made pies!), jam tart, apple crumble and scones with raisins. I do make a really nice choccy cake when it's peoples birthdays too.

"Just" homemade pie? Pies are a lot of work to do from scratch, and they're so good! I'm glad your partner appreciates the time you take to make him pies!

My signature dish is garlic and herb roasted chicken stuffed with my special stuffing. And it's a secret recipe, so I'm afraid I can't share it here. :D I honed it myself over years of experimenting and trying different combinations, and I am very proud of it. And it always goes over well - especially with mashed potatoes, biscuits and corn!

We all have a few family secret recipes! My family cookbook includes the best perogies I've ever had, made completely from scratch of course.
