i guess there are some of you who can easily relate to this matter. i have always been happy and never thought i'd be affected by this condition. it's alarming because i've thought of ending my life few weeks ago just to eradicate all this emptiness i feel inside. all my friends told me to do other productive and fun stuff, which by the way i'm doing (work, badminton, movies, etc) but at the end of the day, i'd still find myself sad and longing for the man i love who lives opposite of the globe from me. and the chances of us being together is so slim and impossible due to circumstances we both have no control of. can doctors help me get over this? sometimes i think they can't...i'm sure they will prescribe anti-depressant pills which i think will cause more harm than good to me. i hate this.

I'm am so sorry to hear that you feel this way but just remember that it can hit anyone at anytime and that you are no different then anyone else as most people judge people who suffer from depression . It really is not that different then anything else you may get in life , in that anyone can get it at any time but it can be treated , just like everything else you really do need to see your doctor or it will get worse . They talk so much abou there about the anit-depressant pills and this scared people but the truth is without them (as with anything else in life ) , if you don't get checked out it will get worse and will take over your life . You have to be able to fight it and this is why you have to see your doctor .
Take Care !!!
