Borzoi is a Russian word for dogs that hunt by sight instead of smell. They are beautiful dogs, a slim and graceful bred for hunting wolves and are also known as wolfhounds. They were first bred in Russia by the Russian aristocracy. Some were given to the British Monarchy in the 1800. They were bred for speed during hunts. I undersatnd they can be very loyal and loving companions.

A furry greyhound or whippet. A dog developed for upper crust of society of its time. There is a rescue foundation so they must have trouble with certain types of people. Bred to get along with cats and other small animals. Seems like they would need some room to run since they also were bred to chase game by sight over smell. This would be a type of dog I might like. Gotta keep my beefy boys though for security!! ^_^
