I got my first referral today, and he wrote his first discussion only to have it disappear. It shows up on his profile, but can't be found through a search, or by clicking on the interest he clicked on when writing the discussion.
His profile is here: http://www.mylot.com/krial42
It was posted from his intrests under the television show: stargate atlantis
Since the discussion shows up on his profile, it obviously got posted, but where did it go from there? After he posted it he couldn't find it so I tried to help.
When I searched for it, it was not there. When I clicked on the link from his intrests (where he posted it from) there were only 5 discussions there, and his was not one of them. Any theories on this?

I have had this happen more than a few times. When I posted about Playmobi toys and used the link to the section, it didn't show up for a day. Other times things show up right away. It may have something to do with site traffic, having someone post to it or some other weird cyber oddity. When I posted something to the debating section, it showed up right away, when I posted to a section that I created (an obscure movie) it took it about 14 hours to show up but it was listed on my user page.
This is what I noticed; when there is even one response to a post, it shows up in the section. That's not to say that it isn't going to show up if there aren't any responses when the system does the update for the payouts. So I always check peoples pages to see if they posted anything that hasn't had a response to it so that it gets pushed into the section quicker. That's just what I have noticed, not saying that it's going to help every single time :]

It's been over a week now and his discussion still isn't showing up. There have been two responses on it for the full week, but still it doesn't show up. I don't know why, but it doesn't.
Not only that, but I now have a second referral and the same thing happened to him. He posted two discussions though and at least one of his is showing. The other isn't searchable or found under the catagory where it was posted.
The sad part is that for new people, not many people are checking their pages to see if they posted anything new so they are often overlooked altogether if their discussions aren't showing up.
