I usually buy clothes for my kiddos or toys. It's usually mostly stuff for them. I do try and look on ebay for stuff before going to the store

I'm a Powerseller on ebay. I sell nothing but
antiquarian books of all types. When it comes
to buying, I simply buy or bid on things that
appeal to me or something for my wife.

I mainly buy clothes on eBay. A lot of vintage, and also designer items. I also buy concert, and sport events tickets there, as people often sell their tickets cheaply at the last minute, if they bought them a long time in advance, and then can't go to the event for whatever reason.

I've never thought to buy tickets...I would love to see some local shows and they are often sold out...I will look from now on. Great post

The only thing I have ever got off ebay was clothes for my children but I love looking on there for things . I just find that if you are not getting clothes you have to watch the price as it may be way to expensive to ship and might not be worth paying the price for what you are interested in .

i do look for electronic items like ipods and mobiles on ebay becoz they r available on ebay for cheaper rates and they r vey nice

Lately I have bought a couple of jigsaw puzzles, because mum loves them, and it saves the time and hassle of going into town and searching for them, they are much cheaper of Ebay. I also buy cds and dvds, I save a fortune by shopping on Ebay compared to the high street. Plus you can find rare items on Ebay which you couldn't possibly find on the high street. It can be very addictive searching for stuff!

American Limoge china. It was my mother's wedding china, I'm trying to recreate the set. I've also bought electronics and kids clothes but had some bad experiences in those areas so now its just the china.

There was a company in France, I think, that made china under the name of Limoge. A company here started making china using the same name and after some court time, added American to their name to distinguish themselves from the original company.
The make all kinds of china and object d'art in numerous patterns. The design I like is d'Oro, it depicts a man and two women from about the 14th or 15th century, sitting together. The man is playing a lute and the women are listening. The wall they are sitting in front of reminded me of the front wall and chimney of the house I grew up in.
We used the china on all special occasions, Christmas, Thanksgiving, birthdays and the like. It was the only thing I wanted from my mom's estate and the only thing that I couldn't have, so I've been collecting it myself. I buy a few pieces every year from ebay.

I buy tons of different things on ebay. Most of my baby's things came from ebay. I bought my laptop off ebay as well.
