Valentines in the PHILIPPINES

Valentines day in the Philippines is synonymous with red roses(higher as expected) and red shirts(for those who search for a partner),
Filipinos have always been known as romantic people. And is mirrored during this special day of hearts.Lovers are seen holding hands in malls, public plazas and other places they chose to have a date. Flowers shops are in season today.
I remember when i was in high school, one of my classmate gave me a 3 red roses, which made me blushed! all over of the classroom, he gave it to me, and my classmates are shouting for a kiss...-) its the memorable day for me..feb. 14, 2003!so how bout you guys, the valentines day in your country? and experiences during the seasons of HEARTS.

Here in the USA valentines day is also about hearts roses chocolate. It's the biggest day for the florists too. They sell more roses this day then any other time of the year. I have 2 friends from I think its something like Cagayande Oro City. They've lived here in Minnesota USA for quite a few years now so they have told me about their dances & all on Valentines day. Thanks again. A shame noone else responded to this.
