Extension of social protection coverage to overcome poverty

There are many countries that are helping their people to try and alleviate or speak eradicate poverty. The Scheme i am talking about would be one viable project if only the government dwelt on training the people of projects that would bring in returns and if reports were required. The money lent should not be a gift but should be a loan and policies and strategies should be laid down to ensure that the monies are not wasted. we have NGOs that have assisted people in investing in viable projects. We have banks that also assist people to start up projects and also guide them on how to run them and expand them. It is not enough to start a business, one should be able to expand and also assist others in situations like the one they were in. Governments should play a key role in ensuring that poverty is eradicated. government should organized a summit that talk on issues affecting the youth and more so on employment. They should approved some grants that will be used to lift the livelihoods of young people by investing in income generating projects. If the project comes to live I hope it will not be misappropriated as has happened to projects before. The ideas are good but at times no one is there to follow up.
