Well Nirvana Unplugged was one of the greatest live concerts I saw (on tv). It showed how "real" music does not need so much... Nirvana music has an inner meaning.

Nirvana unplugged is a beautiful album, the only one I can really listen to in full. I like Nirvana/Kurt, enjoy reading about them and listening to some of their songs but I find the others too nhilaistic. Despite some of the songs being bleak, there's a poetry and pureness to the performance that stops it being dispairing. I love Kurts version of The Man Who Sold The World (prefer it to Bowie's origanal).

The unplugged was also live. So offcourse you like it live, but I like also both. But the unplugged set for mtv is a real classic, the way they put their songs acoustic and the covers, the show was brilliant. No band after them even came close to such a class mtv unplugged concert!
