Well, it is true in a way...
Chocolate contains the amino acid called tryptophan which converts to a neurotransmitter in the brain called serotonin which is a "feel good" neurotransmitter.
It also contains caffeine which may give you a buzz!
Im glad this simple pick me up works for you =)

I think chocolate is a good comfort food. There's nothing wrong with leaning to food when you're depressed. In moderation though so you don't get unhealthy. You are lucky you have your husband to make you feel good. I'm glad I have my kids, they keep me happy.

Once i read in a health magazine that eating chocolates is helpful in many ways than one. it not only protects our heart but also ignites our blood circulation. what's more it's a good exercise for the teeth and tongue with a sticky chocolate.is't that?

It's one of my favorite food to eat when I am really depressed. I can say its good to intake these sweet chocolates sometimes. Though it is also a fattening, be sure to burn the stored calories to maintain your healthy living. And also, chocolates are great!
