hi all... valentine day is around the corner.. do share love poems around here so that we can give it to our love one or the one we love on valentine day... cheers!!!
My mood is like a cloudy noon
My mood is like a cloudy noon
Waiting for the sun,
Or like a sailing ship that can't
Set sail without the tide.
I fidget in my emptiness,
Not knowing where to run;
Yet when you're near I can't explain
What going on inside.
It's too bad feelings to swim so deep,
Too deep for anyone
To grasp them as they squiggle through
And take them for a ride.
Hope u all enjoy the poem.. :)

This is my favorite poem written by Pablo Neruda:
Sonnet XVII
I do not love you as if you were salt-rose,topaz,
Or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off
I love you as certain dark things are to be loved,
In secret between the shadow and the soul.
I love you as the plant that never blooms
but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers;
Thanks to your love a certain solid fragrance
risen from the earth, lives darkly in my body.
I love you without knowing how or when or from where
I love you straighforwardly, without complexities or pride
so I love you because I know no other way than this:
Where I does not exist or you
so close that your hand upon my chest is my hand
so intimate that it is your eyes that close when I fall asleep.
I really like this poem alot most particularly the third stanza. When I read this poem I always get the impression of a dark passionate love that is lasting and does not ordinarily come everyday in our lives but that which we crave for.
