Glass Filters on Monitors.. do they really help?

Do you have one? Do they really help in lessening eye-strain?

Yes I have one and used it, it can reduce monitor radiation but not stop that radiation effect on eyes. :)

yes they really help..the reduce the stress on the eye thereby preventing the eye from diseases!!

which moniter are u using, i use a Syncmaster and it has low level of radiation compared to other crt's, i am on my pc for nearly 10-11 hrs a day and my eyes are not at all strained. glass filters only dim the contrast you can do it with the panel controls on your screen. also taking a break from time to time on the pc helps!!

I have one, it really makes the screen easier to see. Especially from a bit farther away.
