Are people still using Dial up connections which.................

yes!...most of my friends uses dial up for internet connection!...i know it is not as fast as the dsl but i8t is more cheaper!...most of the people refers to choose the cheaper one because of economic crisis!...

no not at all its just pathetic....and nice to be forgetten that i used to pay 1000s of rupees to vsnl and also bsnl for phone using...

well yeah defiantly i think people start their journey of using internet from dial up only ! same with me ! ands it the fact ! when i as in 11 standard i connected my PC to my telephone line and connected to internet and used the dialup connection first time and then as the time passes my needs increased and i taken broadband connection

We are still using dial up since we live out in the country, our nearest town is about 10 miles away. We cannot afford Satellite. We also do not have cable or afford satellite television. We are fortunate to have this computer in the first place so though we would dearly love to have a quicker connection so that we would not miss out on things, we cannot. My phone company, Verizon, does not have DSL in my area yet either. I have tried!! So please consider those of us that have only dial up when you have things that move or have music and such on your pages. I know for me if it loads at all it bogs down my computer and sometimes shuts my pages. Thanks for seeking to understand!!!

some people in my country still do that, but I'm allready not using that type of connection, I'm using dialup also, but different line, I'm using dialup through a phone cell, using gprs, or pdn line, so I use my cell phone as my modem, for the gsm gprs line it's almost the same speed with dialup using phone line, but the cdma pdn power is pretty faster than both of the other.

I don't use dial up anymore. Now, I'm using unlimited GPRS connection. It's cheper than dial up. But many people in my country still use dial up connection for connect to internet even is it's expensive and has slow bandwith. By the way, what do you mean with BB? I do not understand..
