Have you ever lost a niece/nephew?

How are you to feel? What are you to say? Right now my heart is broken. I got a call early this morning that informed me that my little nephew who was just a month old when to heaven. It was like if I had lost my own child. Will the pain get better with time? How do you support the family member it happened to? Any other stories please share...

sorry to hear that, God has other plan for your family maybe. Don't ever forget that if you loose one, more will come. I'm praying for your nephew..

I feel so sorry for those who have lost their nephews and nieces, especially at a young age. How are you doing as it has been 4 weeks since you've posted this discussion?
I haven't lost any, but my nephew was basically taken away from everyone by his mother to another country at a young age. She won't let anyone come there and visit him or talk to him on the phone. I try to send him gifts and cards and never get any response from him. His mom will sometimes drop and e-mail once in a while with a picture.
